Dr Sally McSwiggan is a consultant neuropsychologist with an interest in adults and older persons involved in civil and criminal proceedings.
Over 17 years, Dr McSwiggan has consulted to aged care and rehabilitation units, psychiatry, memory clinics, stroke services, surgical units, drug and alcohol, and acquired brain injury units.
She has held professional appointments for over 10 years with two legal tribunals, a Research Fellow in medicine and law, and lectures to postgraduates.
Dr McSwiggan has particular interest in capacity issues and provides expert reports for persons with intellectual disabilities, cognitive impairment, diseases of the aging brain, and dual diagnoses (mental illness and cognitive impairment).
